Needs

In A-RP, you have Needs, just as you have needs in real life.

Hunger:

Unlike other servers, HP won't be getting low at the same rate. You can't die here for not eating for two hours.
There are states of hunger. At the beginning, you're not hungry. HP won't be dropping lower.
If you won't eat for a couple of hours, you'll become hungry. Your HP will start getting lower slightly.
If you won't eat for along time, you'll be starving, and your HP will drop faster.
Soda can't save you here. You must get some real food to eat.
You can find real food at Restaurants, or order pizza (By the simple command of /call pizza)
When you eat, you raise a hunger level, and your HP is raised slightly.

Tiredness:

In A-RP, you have to sleep.
You have three states of tiredness:
Fresh, Tired, and Exhausted.
Being tired or exhausted will decrease your HP slowly. In order to get Fresh, you have to sleep. You can sleep in a Motel, or in a house.
You can also sleep in the street, but you will only get to "tired" state, and can't get to "fresh" state.
Sleeping takes two minutes. You can sleep by simply typing /sleep.





Attributes

When you start playing for the first time, you have five attribute points.
Each time you level up, you get one point. When you reach level 5, you gain 2 points each level. When you reach level 10, you gain 3 points each level, and so on…
The more attributes you have, the more gain. It can help you with abilities (like holding a man). Intelligence, for instance, may help you with hacking, while Agility can help you especially if you're a hitman.

Strength
You get abilities like holding people (Depends on their agility\strength), knocking people out…
It also has a large effect on Agility abilities, and strength actions against you.

You can raise Strength points at the gym every time you got new points.


Agility
Agility wont help you with any normal job.
Used a lot by Hitmans. (Most of their special abilities relies on agility, like wire, and throwing knives)
Abilities like covering (which hides your name for some seconds), and dogging (which makes you doge any damage).
You can raise Agility through another person that has more than 10 points to agility ONLY.

Intelligence
Intelligence has no special abilities. It is used as a passive attribute mostly.
Intelligence can help you with things, as, for an instance, hacking.
Intelligence also determines whether you can use certain items or not (For example, you need a certain amount of Intelligence to use C4.)

You can raise Intelligence points at the Central Area (CA) building, third floor.

Jobs

Computer Technician
You can become a Computer Technician at the first floor in the CA building (Near the spawn, and the ACG HQ-The PD)
Computer Technicians can clear people's computers from viruses and spywares by using the command /comfix *ID*
If a person's E.O.P program got deleted or damaged, he automatically fixes it.
A Computer Technician can also sell three anti-virus softwares-
Borton, Salv, Ravinsky
Ravinsky is the best out of the three.
The Anti-Virus software protects the computer from viruses and other threats.

Taxi Driver
You can become one at Unity Station (You can see the picture below)
You can call a Taxi Driver by calling the number 666 (/call 666)
If there's a free driver, he'll come.

A Taxi Driver can also decide\ask his client if to activate the counter or not, by using the command /counter on
To turn it off, he needs to type /counter off
Both the Driver, and the client can look at the counter by using the command /counter

Delivery Boy-Pizza
You can become one in the pizzeria (You can see a picture below)
In the pizzeria, there are two markers. One to take the job, and the other one to take pizzas.
You can take pizzas by using the command /get pizza
And to give people pizzas by using /give pizza *ID* *1\2*
"1" is for big pizza, and "2" is for a small one.

You can order pizza by using the command /call pizza
There you can order pizza by it's size, and even spices.

Mechanic
You can take the job near the Vinewood's paynspray (Picture below)
Mechanic can do things to a car only if he's outside of the car, and the driver is inside (To prevent things like fixing the car while being chased)
Mechanic can fix cars by using the command /fix *ID*
He can fill fuel by using the command /refuel *ID*
And tune the car by using /Tune Hydrolic\Nitro *ID*

Metals transportation
Your job is to deliver the metals to the metals store (Which is located at the north eastern edge of Los Santos). In my opinion, it is one of the best jobs to make cash.

Barman
What's more popular than alcohol in night clubs?
In Los Santos three big night clubs, that needs barmen.
You can only be hired by the owner to be a barman of his bar.
There are three bars: Alhambra, Ten Green Bottles, and Pig Pen.

Metals Thief
There are three Metals Qualities. The people who work in this job can steal metals from certain places (Illegal, and gives the lowest quality metal), or from cars (The Metal's quality depends on the car's type, group-As better the car is, the higher the Metals Quality.)

Factions
Organizations like Mafias, Radio faction, etc…
ACG, is a mega-Faction, made of three Departments:
Secret Service, Enforcement Department, and Medical Department

Weapons
Unlike other servers, here you can't just make a shotgun from materials from your pocket, in front of a customer.
Only two factions can produce weapons, which are the Italian Mafia and Russian Mafia.
There are two categories of weapons: Light, and Heavy.
Light weapons are bats, knives etc… There are only two guns in this category, which are SD pistol and Desert Eagle.
Heavy weapons are other guns (SMGs, M4s etc…)
Heavy weapons are hard to get, and expensive.
Weapons are made by those factions in a certain spot. After they been sold, they CAN be given to other people. (For example: Person A bought a weapon, and gave it to Person B. Person B, gave the weapon to Person C, and so on.)
Weapons can be given by easily using the command '/giveweapon *ID*'.
Weapons can be also dropped by using the command '/dropgun', and the current weapon you're holding will be dropped.
*Note: At both of these commands you have to hold the weapon in order to give\throw it.
More advanced commands:
/Holster – Moves the weapon you are holding to the inventory.
/Unholster *Gunid* *ammo*- You can take a weapon with the amount of bullets you want from the Inventory. If you want to draw a weapon with no bullets like a bat or a knife, the parameter "ammo" isn't required.
/Unholsterh *Gunid* *ammo* - Just like the /unholster just for heavy weapons.
/givegun *ID*, /givegunh *ID*- Gives someone only a gun, without bullets to his inventory. Note: The weapon has to be in your inventory in order to do so.
/giveammo *ID*, /giveammoh *ID*- Like /givegun, just here you give only bullets (Which have to be in the Inventory of course).



Books
As the older version of A-RP, here there are books too.
You find them randomly through playing the server. You may find notes, diaries and others.
For more information, just type '/help books' within the game.


Computers
You can buy computers for 5,000$ at every 24\7 store.
You can turn the computer on and off by the command /laptop on\off
After loading the programs, there are simple basic functions you should know about:
/programs – Checks what programs you got on your computer.
/delete *Program's name* - Deletes programs. Becareful not to delete the E.O.P, because it's the operating system of the computer, and if it deletes, you have to ask a Computer Technician to fix your computer.
To check the command of each program, all you have to do is to see what is the name of that program (Through /programs), and to type it's name after slash.
For example, if a program's name is "X V.51", you ignore the V (that represents the Version of the program), and type the name itself: /X (It works with all the programs except for E.O.P and the browser.)
Surfing the internet is being made by using the command
/www Site's-name.net
Note that between the "www" and the name of the website, there is a space and not a dot!
All the 'legal' sites end with ".net", all the other ends are 'illegal' (ICly, of course).
A list of most of the official legal websites, can be found by using the command /favorites
When you're in a certain site that allows downloading a program, all you need to do is to type /download *Program's name*
And the downloading process will begin. But, if the program costs money, you'll have to have some cash at the Virtual Bank – iBank.
How do you do that? Just drive to the Bank at Los Santos, and bank the wanted amount.
Then you enter iBank through the internet, type /iBank *Amount* , and the money will transfer to the iBank account.
The Virtual Bank is good for transferring money through the internet from account to account, to pay for certain programs, or to pay the regular payment to your website-If you got one.
A free software I recommend you to download is TON – Chatting program. You can register with any nickname, you can register with a lot of users and to login the software.
There are 10 chat rooms which in people can talk, and you are able to talk one on one with someone outside the chat rooms as well.

With that, and with the /favorites which includes most of the official legal sites, you should find your way through the internet.
In addition, you can enter /www google.net, and search there for websites.

Illegal network
The illegal network includes hacking, certain programs, and private websites-That unlike the legal network, which is being watched by the ACG, can provide illegal information and stuff.
To find the illegal network, and to find your way inside the illegal network, you'll have to contact the right people who'll show you the way there, and to use your brain to proceed.
Hidden storyline pieces, Websites against the Dictator, programs like a program to distort your voice while on the phone, or Poker in the Internet, and more.
The Hacking includes a huge variety of knowledge and programs-hacking passwords, hacking satellites for locating, hacking to the ACG Database, and much more, which is hidden, that the ones who would succeed to find it-Will find out.

Basketball



Although you can't play Basketball like you play it in the Single Player, we scripted Basketball.
The commands in it are short, but yet you might feel you want to use Binds.
There are only two commands which are being used in game – Grabbing the ball and passing the ball.
To start a basketball match, you need a minimum of two people. By using the command /Basketball start *ID*, When the ID is the ID of the player which will lead the other team, starts a game.
The game that typed the command and the person whom ID was typed, are the leaders of their teams. Every leader can add players to his team (Up to 5 players at each team), by using the command /Basketball invite *ID* , and every player can quit the Basketball match by using the command /Basketball leave
The game works a lot on percents and odds, and every action has a certain amount of chances to fail.
At the beginning of every match, the two leaders have to go to the marker which is in the middle of the field, for the ball to be thrown again.
When a player gets the ball, he can try throwing the ball from two markers: one for two points, and one for three.
The odds of succeeding to score two points are higher, of course.
If you are closer to the location of the 3 points throw, the marker of it will appear. If you'll move forward towards the basket, another marker will appear closer to the basket – for a 2 points throw.
When a person has the ball, his name turns red, and people can see he dribbles the ball with an automatic /me.
All the people in his team and the other team can try to grab his ball, by using the command /bc.
They have to be near him to try. (Note that ID isn't necessary here.)
When someone has the ball, he can pass it to anyone he wants, by using the command /bg *ID*


Knowledge
Knowledge, like in reality, can come from knowledge sources (Internet, books), or from people who can teach it.
To see a list of things your character knows, type the command /knowledge
When someone knows how to do a certain thing, he can teach others by using the command /teach *ID* *Subject's number*
For example, every person who knows how to drive can teach any other person how to drive, without needing a license. All you have to do, is to type /teach *ID* 1
And the person that learns from him has to accept the learn, by /accept learn
And then, he'll know how to drive.
